Points4Planet has been set up with a single ambition of ensuring that the voice of children and young people is heard and acted upon in the fight to protect our planet for current and future generations.
Our driver ‘It’s my World not Yours’ was seen on a school bag being carried by a Year 6 (10 year-old) pupil at Danbury Park School, Essex UK, by our Founder and CEO Gary Hicks, who had been challenged by his Grand Daughter Maisie to help her to do something to make a real and practical contribution in relation to saving the environment.
For too long, children and young people have been on the receiving end of decisions made by 'elders' who have failed to take appropriate and timely action to protect our planet. A 4 year-old starting school in September 2024, will almost certainly still be working in the first decade 2100, but what kind of world will current leaders and adults have bequeathed them?
